love the product, but more importantly love the man who is a voice for we cycling punters. If you ever need crowd funding to deal with some of the Twats in big cycling count me in. Hope my little purchase in some way helped the cycling quality control cause, or hell straight to the betting shop what ever grabs your fancy. You be da man. Can”t wait for the next” Hello Hambini fans”.

5 stars across the board. Leaps and bounds ahead of the Shimano BB that was removed. It installed in just a few minutes and what a difference. This 5 year old is the bottom bracket king.

  3. Jake B.

Very high quality bb. Huge improvement over oem.

  4. Matthew

The part arrived in a children’s yogurt box (completely on-brand for Hambini) but packaged very well and carefully nonetheless – I was happy about the reused packaging. The install was very easy with a YouTube video to accompany after a little digging. There was a very perceivable difference (for the better) in quality between the old bottom bracket and Hambini’s. His product is very high quality and the design is very well thought out. Riding on it is great. It seems to keep dirt out better than the old BB did. 5/5 would buy again.

    Happy!

  6. Christian S.

Best quality, easy install and a really good fit.

  7. Peter O.

The thing went on smooth as can be and rides like a dream!. The only thing, some indication on which side the thing goes on (L/R?). Had to try and thread it on to figure it out, and maybe a newbie will crossthread like a dork.

  8. Michael A.

He helped me decide what BB I needed and made a special order over a weekend. It is a great BB and his service is second to none.

Q & A

Hi hambini. I have the road version of this (its effing awesome!) on my gravel bike. I am moving to a boost spacing so was wondering if i really need to buy the whole thing again. Or if this can be adapted to fit? Oor buy just the bit i need? Ross Phillips asked on September 10, 2023

Boost spacing would require some additional spacers, but the bottom bracket will thread in.

Will this bottom bracket work on a 73mm frame with a Shimano Road (r9200) crankset or is it only for MTB cranksets? Philly asked on July 12, 2023

The BB will work on a 73mm bike frame BUT your road crankset (R9200) will not as the DBCA would be too short.

Hi Hambini, does this needs additional 2,5mm spacer (as the original Shimano SH-BB52 for example) or is your BB installed without any spacer? Strenki asked on October 19, 2022

The spacer is dependent on the bike frame and the crankset that you intend to use with it. The bottom bracket will work with or without a spacer.

Curiosity: Why don't you use 24 x 37 x 7 bearings, where 24mm shaft fits directly on the inner ring of bearing. Wouldn't it be a more durable fit than plastic sleeve between shaft and bearing? Tomasz K. asked on April 8, 2022

Bearings are hardened and will trash the axle, the delrin cup is there as a sacrificial element to avoid axle damage.

Can it fit Sram Eagle GX cranks 24mm spindle diameter? My frame is a boost frame specialized epic expret. Shaun asked on March 21, 2022

It won't fit I'm afraid, you'd need a GXP specific BB
