Why is this called "long axle" when the normal BSA 24mm is not? I assume both types are for 68mm road shells, so why is this "long"? Andreas asked on February 9, 2024

It's to do with the axle type not the diameter. Historically BB30 or 30mm axles have been 68mm DBCA. This type would not fit. Modern 30mm cranksets use a 90+mm DBCA and these are referred to as long axle.

Which BSA BB should I select, 30 or 24 to pair with a Rotor crankset (not yet purchased and both available) to fit into an Enigma Evade? Nat Winsor asked on August 18, 2022

If you have the choice, the 24mm Rotor crankset with the Hambini to Shimano BSA BB is superior.
