New Product: Hambini Racing Titanium Bottom Brackets
The cycling market is taking a hammering at the moment with a drop in demand, a massive drop in sales and general discontent. I thought it would be a great time for me to expand! More on this will be coming soon!
I’ve started making some BSA bottom brackets (30mm and SRAM DUB/AXS) in Titanium. All of the lessons that I learned last year from my screw-ups and the feedback from Cycling Tour teams have culminated in these.
What are the benefits of using titanium over aluminum to make these bottom brackets?
The weak point in bsa 30mm is the thread engagement, the sidewalls are thin. Titanium is extremely strong so the sidewall strength loss is mitigated.
