- 1.2 x 24 TPI Right hand threading
- Lightweight Aluminium alloy
- 7.5mm deep threading, the OE unit is approximately 4mm
- Fits a standard Shimano cassette Lockring tool
- Flat tooth engagement faces to reduce stress.

I’ve been looking for a longer theaded cassette lockring for a Chris King Classic hub, that’s gone from a 9 speed to 10, and 11 speed MTB to now a Gravel 11 speed.
Shimano Lockring didn’t work, Sram just about OK, and Chris king’s doesn’t seem available in the UK, at least for now, so this is the perfect solution, reasonably priced and quick delivery.

Partner’s bike, new dt-Swiss wheel, Shimano compatible freehub and 11sp Shimano cassette. A SRAM lockring with 5mm of thread seemed safer than Shimano lockring with 4mm, but still only 2.5-3 threads engaged. I was ordering a deep steel ring for my use anyway, so took the chance to get this one for her. The machining on the ring appeared perfect and I couldn’t fault the item or the ordering process/delivery. Doesn’t come with a thin washer and I used it without. Nice and light!
